NEED VENDOR HELP

Subject: NEED VENDOR HELP Fri Mar 21, 2008 6:54 pm

I'm trying to make vendors using a website ( I would link it but it's down right this minute). When I try to execute the file I get an error saying:

Field ‘attacktype’ doesn’t have a default value

What does this mean? How do I fix it?

ok its cause your vendors are outdate. Because its missing values and collumn Attacktype.

you can basicaly edit your vendorssql file under creature_proto by adding another collumn "attacktype" and the value '0" but it will take alot of editing.

how do i do this is their a quick fix sql file for it?

not really. Your creature_prot is missing values for attacktype.

Just download Cosa NOstra vendors, they are Blizzlike with all items, tier, wepaons, gear, pvp , season 3.

i have custon items that need to be spawned in GM island that i dont want normal people to get ahold of

You can make a vendor on wow-v.com

then when you spawn the vendor in game

use .npc vendoradditem <item id>

it will be much easier

i tried to spawn the vendor and then add the item like that before and the vendor wouldn't spawn.. when i execute the SQL batch file form wow-V (which by the way isnt up for some reason), i get the attacktype error how do i simply ad the column in the database?

Just to add to that I always add a 1 after so that it goes rite into the database as well. You may not need it but it has happened to me before where the item doesnt stay in the vendor. Example: .npc vendoradditem 12345 1
